Game Day Worker Positions Now Open

When game day hits Buffalo, the work starts before the first fan ever walks through the gate. CAHill has built its name in heavy civil construction by moving earth, clearing ground, and getting tough jobs done right. Now we're bringing that same grit to Highmark Stadium, and we need dependable people to help us keep walkways, lots, and stadium entrances safe and clear on the days it matters most.

No prior experience required. If you show up, work hard, and want to learn, we want to hear from YOU.

Please note: This is an exclusive, invitation-only opportunity. These positions are not open to the general public. If you've received this link, you've been personally selected or referred to apply. Do not share this posting without prior authorization from CAHill.

Who We're Looking For

We hire for work ethic first. Skills can be taught. Showing up can't. You'll be a strong fit if you are:

  • Dependable. You show up on time, ready to work, even when the weather is rough.
  • Hard-working. You don't mind physical labor and take pride in a job done well.
  • Safety-minded. You look out for yourself, your crew, and the people around you.
  • Eager to learn. You're open to training and new skills.
  • A team player. You can follow a crew leader and still handle a section on your own.

Job Requirements

Basic Eligibility

  • Must be 18 years of age or older
  • Must be legally authorized to work in the United States

Physical Ability

Game Day Worker shifts are physically demanding. You should be able to:

  • Shovel, lift, bend, and walk for long periods
  • Move heavy, wet snow repeatedly during shifts of 4 to 8 hours or more
  • Lift up to 50 pounds, such as bags of salt or ice melt
  • Walk safely on uneven, slick, or icy surfaces around the stadium
  • Perform the essential duties of the role, with or without reasonable accommodation

Availability and Scheduling

Game day schedules don't follow a 9-to-5 routine, so neither do we.

  • Work early morning shifts, often starting as early as 3:00 or 4:00 a.m.
  • Be available on game days, including nights, weekends, and holidays
  • Report to the stadium quickly when called in
  • Stay available through the remainder of the home game season

Reliability and Transportation

  • Have reliable transportation to Highmark Stadium, including in bad weather
  • Hold a valid driver's license if the role requires driving a company vehicle
  • Keep your phone close and respond fast on game day mornings

Cold Weather Readiness

Buffalo winters don't take days off, and neither do we. You should:

  • Be comfortable working outdoors for long hours in freezing temperatures, wind, and heavy snow
  • Own, or be able to get, proper cold-weather gear:
  • Know how to stay warm, dry, and focused through a full shift
  • Insulated, waterproof boots with good traction
  • Waterproof gloves
  • Warm, layered clothing

Teamwork and Independent Work

Some areas of the stadium you'll cover with a crew. Others you'll handle on your own.

  • Follow directions from your crew leader
  • Work independently without direct supervision
  • Take initiative and help where needed once your section is done
  • Communicate clearly with your team

Safety Awareness

Safety comes first on every CAHill site — and that goes double when tens of thousands of fans are counting on clear, safe ground to walk on.

  • Use proper lifting technique to protect your back
  • Recognize the warning signs of frostbite and hypothermia
  • Watch for hazards like black ice, downed wires, and moving vehicles
  • Report unsafe conditions right away
  • Complete required safety training before starting work

Already hold OSHA 10, OSHA 30, or First Aid/CPR certification? That's a plus, but it's not required. We'll make sure you're trained and ready before your first game day shift.
